It’s Electric! (Wire, that is). Right now, I’m really into sporting and stacking bright, vibrant bangle bracelets. The more the merrier, I say! On my trip to the hardware store, I was inspired by reams of electric wire hanging from the walls.
Mixed with some fun neon and metallic tape, this combo is spot on! Make your bangle bracelet as big as you wish. Get creative with other colored tapes and colored wires.
ps- don’t wear in water, have fun getting wired!

SALUTE!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA! WE LOVE YOU!
It’s no secret that I LOVE BOATS! From summer camp to crewing on various sail boats in the British Virgin Islands and Florida… I was hooked at an early age. One useful thing I picked up over the years, was another language… the Nautical Alphabet! Each letter in the alphabet has a flag that it represents. Not only do they stand for something, their bold markings make for cool decor accents.
Combining my love for all things Nautical and home decor, I decided to make wall art out of colorful paper, a piece of wood (found at the beach), and some unbleached cotton sailors rope. Monogram names or favorite destinations by the sea…get creative with your messages!
AHOY!
Over the weekend I met a lovely, chic guest at the Montauk Yacht Club sporting a Philip Treacy masterpiece which inspired me to make my own! I went a little industrial and modern using armature wire, which I picked up at the hardware store. My free-form design is a perfect accessory for a festive party or use for fabulous display art.
PS- Phillip Treacy transforms the most amazing fantasies into mind-blowing and adorning hats and headpieces. The London based designer/genius, has been creating works of art for over 30 years. He has collaborated with greats like Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen and the Queen, herself!
Sum Summer DIY for you… I love adding a burst of color to my wardrobe. A scarf is a great accessory to drape around the neck and spruces up any ensemble! Be BBQ or beach bonfire chic in your new summer scarf!
This is an easy breezy project that should take you a few minutes, and will look like you just bought it at your favorite shop. All you need is a T-shirt and a pair of sharp scissors.
Use a cool tye-dye print, recycle an old vintage comfy tee, ANY Tee shirt works!!!! Get creative… throw some knots on stands or add beads!
